When I moved from Colorado to Wisconsin, the winter season took on an entire new meaning for me.

Back home, the winters are milder unless you live in the mountains. Here in the Midwest, it’s cold and damp. I had to restock my winter chest and buy gloves, scarves, and a thicker coat in order to survive up here.

The best part about relocating was being able to experience my first White Christmas. Now, I love watching the snow fall while sipping hazelnut coffee.
